Introduction

What are premiums?

The premiums are the amount that you pay each month for your insurance coverage. Insurance companies take your premiums, invest them, use them to pay out claims from other insured members, and use the proceeds to help generate profits for the insurance company and provide a return on the investments for the shareholders of the insurance company.
