What is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)?

People who hold this certification have to pass rigorous examinations, have a minimum of three years of work experience, and must show integrity, extensive knowledge in such financial areas as ethics, portfolio management, security analysis, and accounting. The certification is offered by the CFA Institute.
