Loans For Small Business

What is the SBA CAPlines Program?

This is a short-term loan program that helps small businesses gain access to working capital when their businesses require it. The different types of CAPlines available include Seasonal Line (for businesses that need to adjust their capital because of the seasonality of their business), Contract Line (capital needed to fulfill a contract), and Builders Line (for general contractors and builders), Small Asset based lines of credit (based upon the assets of the company, up to $200,000).

Small businesses make up the meat of the U.S. economy, yet they have been struggling even more than big corporations. Lack of capital is a big reason. If you are a small business owner, working with local city governments or doing some research on the Web may turn up opportunities for grant and loan monies.
