What percentage of identity theft victims know how their personal information was obtained by the criminal?

About 40% of victims seemed to know how someone obtained their personal information. And of those people, 30% thought that the theft occurred after a recent transaction, 20% thought that the information was stolen from a wallet or checkbook, and 14% believed that the information was obtained from personnel or other files at the office.
