What are the different frequencies of radio waves and microwaves that allow for communication?

The table below shows the regions of the electromagnetic spectrum and their uses. The unit for frequency is hertz (Hz). Hertz is the name for the number of oscillations or cycles per second of a wave. The letters kHz mean one thousand hertz, Mhz a million hertz, and Ghz a thousand million or a billion hertz or cycles per second.
