What is a real image?

A concave mirror or a convex lens can redirect light from an object so that it does converge to a single point. That point is a real image. It is in front of a concave mirror and on the other side of a convex lens from the object. If you place a screen, piece of paper, or wall at the location of the image you’ll see it on that surface.
