What books did Hoover write in his post-presidency period? |
Hoover wrote several books, including a collection of essays that criticized the Roosevelt administration titled The Challenge to Liberty (1934). He also wrote The Basis of Lasting Peace with Hugh Gibson and The Memoirs of Herbert Hoover (1958). One of his books, The Ordeal of Woodrow Wilson (1958), became a national bestseller.
