What did Taft do after losing his reelection bid?

Taft became a professor at Yale University, teaching law. He served in that capacity from 1913 until 1921. During this time, he wrote a book entitled Our Chief Magistrate and His Powers, published in 1916. He also managed to reconcile with Roosevelt in 1918.
