Ford sought the impeachment of sitting U.S. Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas. Ford charged that Douglas was “unfit and should be removed.” He criticized Douglas for his connections with Ralph Ginsberg, the publisher of girlie magazines, and Albert Parvin, who had an ownership interest in a Las Vegas casino.
