Is all DNA found in the nucleus?

In addition to the nuclear DNA of eukaryotic cells, mitochondria (an organelle found in both plant and animal cells) and chloroplasts (found in plant and algal cells) both contain DNA. Mitochondrial DNA contains genes essential to cellular metabolism. Chloroplast DNA contains genetic information essential to photosynthesis.
