What are natural fibers?

Natural fibers come from plants or animals. Examples of fabrics of animal origin are wool and silk. Wool is made from the fibers of animal coats including sheep, goats, rabbits, and alpacas. Cotton, linen, hemp, ramie, and jute are all fabrics that have fibers of plant origin.
