Introduction

Upon retirement from the Court, what did Warren Burger do?

After retirement, Burger continued his work as chairman of the Commission on Bicentennial of the Constitution. Appointed by President Ronald Reagan in July 1985, Burger served in that role until 1992. He died in 1995 at the age of 87.
