What famous attorney argued the case before the Supreme Court on behalf of the principal and the school officials?

Kenneth Starr, the dean of the Pepperdine Law School, argued the case pro bono for the school officials. Starr was a former federal appeals court judge best known for his role as the independent counsel that investigated President Bill Clinton and produced the so-called “Starr Report.” Starr has had a successful career as an advocate, arguing several cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
