Is it possible to get frostbite in Hawaii?

Sure. Stand on top of Mount Haleakala on the island of Maui, or Mauna Kea on the Big Island, in the winter, or even spring or summer, and you can easily be exposed to temperatures well below –20°F (-29°C) for a long enough time to develop frostbite.
