What is thewindiest place on Earth?

Mt. Washington, New Hampshire, is the windiest place on Earth that has a weather station to record such data. In 1934, wind speeds were clocked at 231 miles (372 kilometers) per hour; the average annual wind speed there is 35.3 miles (56.8 kilometers) per hour. While no official measurements are available, the windiest places in the world are probably found in the coastal regions of Antarctica.
