What newspaper was the first to begin publishing daily weather forecasts

The London Times was the first newspaper to publish daily weather forecasts in 1860. The forecasts were originally written by retired Admiral Robert FitzRoy (1805–1865), who at the time was head of the meteorological department at the Board of Trade. The early reports concerned temperature, air pressure, and rainfall; beginning in 1861, storm forecasts were added.
