What was the deadliest tornado ever in the world?

On April 26, 1989, a tornado landed about 40 miles (65 kilometers) north of Dhaka, Bangladesh. When it was over, 1,300 people were dead, 15,000 were hurt, and about 100,000 lost their homes.
