In Bristol, England, two girls playing Frisbee in 1991 encountered a bizarre “yellow bubble” of energy. It came in contact with them, and both received what felt like an electric shock that threw them to the ground. They lost their breaths for a moment, and upon recovering, ran home and told authorities. No one ever figured out what they saw, but it might have been an unusual form of ball lightning.
