What is the country’s only black Catholic college?

Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans was founded by Katharine Drexel and the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. It opened on September 27, 1915, as a high school. The college department was added in 1925. Xavier was the first (and remains the only) black Catholic college.
