Are the three types of color cones present in equal quantities?

In an individual with normal vision, the cone population consists of 16 percent blue cones, 10 percent green cones, and 74 percent red cones. Although their sensitivities overlap, each type is most sensitive to a specific portion of the visual spectrum.
