What are the some common STDs?

Sexually transmitted diseases may be caused by bacteria or viruses. Common STDs are chlamydia, genital warts (HPV), genital herpes (HSV), syphilis, gonorrhea, and chancroid. Viral hepatitis, especially hepatitis B, and AIDS are also considered STDs since they are frequently transmitted from one individual to another via sexual contact.
