What astronomical observatories are in the Atlantic Ocean?

The Canary Islands is the site of the Observatorio del Teide at Tenerife and the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos at La Palma. They are currently home to telescopes and other instruments belonging to sixty scientific institutions from seventeen different countries. These observing facilities, together with others, make up what is currently called the “European Northern Observatory” (ENO).
