What else did Ezekiel have to do?

He ate coarse bread cooked over animal dung. This foretold the time when the people of Judah would be degraded and impoverished by invaders.

He cut his hair and beard, and threw some of the strands into the fire, struck some of the strands with a sword, and scattered some of the hair in the wind. These three actions represented different ways Jerusalem was going to be destroyed.
