What was Ezekiel’s first assignment?

Ezekiel drew a picture of Jerusalem on the face of a brick, complete with the conqueror’s battering rams and other weapons of siege. Then Ezekiel placed an iron plate between him and the picture. After that, Ezekiel lay down on his right side and stayed like that for forty days, a symbolic representation of Judah’s time in exile.
