When did Paul write the first letter to the Thessalonians?

Paul and his companions traveled to Thessalonica during Paul’s second missionary journey. This letter, written around 50 C.E., was written shortly after Paul left Thessalonica. Paul wrote the letter to encourage the newly founded church and to clarify Christian beliefs.
