New TestamentPaul’s Letters |
When did Paul write the letter to the Colossians? |
Estimates vary. The letter could have been written any time between the mid-50s C.E. and the early 60s C.E. It is doubtful that Paul ever visited Colossae, but he was interested in the development of the church there, as this letter attests. Paul wrote the letter to address divisive issues that had come up among the believers.
