When was the last interstate highway built

The construction of new interstate highways came to an end in 1993 with the opening of Interstate 105, the Century Freeway, in Los Angeles, 37 years after construction began on the system. The Century Freeway is an inter-city route connecting the coastal community of El Segundo to Interstates 405, 110, 710, and finally 605 in Norwalk.
