The FutureTeaching Children About Investing |
How do I begin to select individual stocks that would interest a child? |
In order to select stocks that interest a child, begin by asking the child what products he likes, retail stores he frequents, food he likes, and restaurants he enjoys. The main purpose for this initial assessment is to create a list of brands in order to find out which ones are most interesting and relevant to the child. Then you should check to see if any of the companies are publicly traded, and on what exchanges they are listed.
