White light is the combination of all the colors in the visible light spectrum. When separated from each other, the different wavelengths have different colors. The longest wavelength light is the color red, and decreasing wavelengths result in orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and finally, the shortest wavelength visible color, violet.
