Yes, Benjamin Harrison married twice in his life. In 1853, the twenty-year-old Harrison married twenty-one-year-old Carolina Lavinia Scott. She died in October 1892, right before Harrison’s reelection campaign. The sixty-two-year-old Harrison remarried on April 6, 1896, to thirty-seven-year-old Mary Scott Lord Dimmick—the niece of his first wife.
