What was his early education? |
Harrison first learned from several tutors at a log cabin on his father’s property. At age fourteen, his father sent him to Farmers’ College, a school in Cincinnati that offered preparatory and college-level classes. His older brother Irwin also attended this school. At Farmers’ College, Benjamin learned from Professor Robert Hamilton Bishop. He also met his future wife at this school.
