Theodore RooseveltEarly Life and Family |
What was Theodore Jr.’s early education? |
He did not have much formal schooling in the traditional sense. This was due, in part, to the fact that he was beset with asthma when he was three years old. However, his family’s affluence enabled him to travel around the world. He saw much of Europe when he was ten years old. Private tutors helped young Teddy learn French, German, and other subjects.
