Who was Hoover’s vice president?

Charles Curtis of Kansas served as Hoover’s vice president. Born on Indian land in North Topeka, Curtis was one-fourth Kaw Indian. He served in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. He ran as Hoover’s running mate for a second term, but when Hoover lost the election to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Curtis left politics and returned to the practice of law.
