Weather Prediction

What is the difference between weather and climate?

Weather is the current condition of the atmosphere. Climate is the long-term average weather for a particular place or region. Often a 30-year average, although also calculated for ten-year averages, climate describes the average weather pattern of a locale. Climatic elements include precipitation, temperature, humidity, sunshine, wind velocity, and other measures of weather such as fog, frost, and other storms.
