Which are the hottest and coldest planets?

The hottest planet is Venus. It has a surface temperature of 900° Fahrenehit (480° Celsius). The carbon dioxide of Venus’s atmosphere traps the heat producing very high surface temperatures. Neptune is the coldest planet with temperatures of –367° Fahrenheit (–224°Celsius) or 51.7°Kelvin.
