What are some examples of the types of nativity scenes?

While many nativity scenes go for a realistic look by featuring human figures as the major players, some do not. For instance, some nativity scenes depict the people as rubber ducks, gnomes, cats, or children.

Also, many nativity scenes are made of wood or ceramic, but not all are. Some are made of corn husks, felt, coal, or animal horn. The scenes come in different sizes. Some are miniature. Some—such as the inflatable yard set—are larger than life.
