What concerns did John address in his letter to Thyatira?

John praised the Christians in Thyatira for “thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience.” (KJV, Revelation 2:19) However, John criticized them because they tolerated a false prophet he likened to Jezebel in the Old Testament.
