The Cone Nebula. The Cone Nebula was photographed in 2002 by Advanced Cameras for Surveys (ACS) on NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope. NASA describes the nebula as having the appearance of a beast rising out of the sea, but others say the nebula bears the resemblance of a bearded man praying. The idea that the nebula resembles a man praying gave rise to its nickname, the Jesus Nebula.
