Which Pharaoh was in power at this time? |
The Bible does not say. However, based on what is known about Egyptian history, many scholars believe the pharaoh most likely identified with the Exodus was Thutmose III, who ruled 1500–1450 B.C.E. If correct, then it might have been his half-sister, Hatshepsut, who was the Pharaoh’s daughter that drew baby Moses out of the Nile.
