Creating a Budget

After I have my budget set up, what types of things should I now look for when analyzing my expenses?

You should look at each item, and see which ones you can actually control, or decrease, and which ones are fixed. Monthly payments like mortgages or loans are more difficult to decrease, than say, credit card purchases for lunches and dinners, or clothes. Look to see which ones you can immediately decrease.
